About Us

Founded in 2004, Madfrog Volleyball is a growing juniors club in the Dallas area and is now ranked the 2nd best club in Texas by Lone Star Volleyball. The club owner and director, Stefanie Rotunno-Samuels, was a former student athlete at Western Michigan University during which she was named to the All Mid-American Conference team and the GTE Academic All-District team. Stefanie has worked with young women since graduation to increase their volleyball skills and further their personal development.

Madfrog has some of the best skills coaching in the Dallas area, with all of our coaches having experienced playing and/or coaching at the school, club or collegiate levels.

The mission of Madfrog Volleyball Club is to provide student-athletes with sound fundamental volleyball skills and develop each player to her maximum potential. The coaches and directors are committed to developing the whole athlete. The "total package" encompasses the players’ academics, athleticism, self-esteem and citizenship. In addition to teamwork, discipline, and fundamental skills, the coaching staff is devoted to making each girl not only a player of the game, but also a student of the game.

Participating in club volleyball requires a large amount of time and financial commitment for the student-athlete and parents. That is why Madfrog Volleyball would like each student-athlete to get the most out of their investment. Becoming an organized, dedicated, and confident student-athlete is one advantage to this commitment. The commitment also provides the potential opportunity to continue to play in the future at the college level.

Madfrog’s goal is to provide a feeling of belonging and unity for all the athletes, coaches and families that are a part of Madfrog. As a club, we challenge our athletes to follow their dreams … and we believe that we are doing just that by creating a home where we can grow and help foster our athlete’s goals and dreams!

    • We have had the top 11's and 12’s program in the region for the last 4 years.
    • Over the years Madfrog has set a new standard in the North Texas Region by being inventors and creators of new volleyball programs and bringing a fresh new prospective to club volleyball.
    • This year, Madfrog was voted the 2nd best club in Texas by Lone Star Volleyball.
    • We won more qualifiers at the highest division than any other club in Texas.

  3. We have fun!
Training and success are great, they are even better if you are having fun. At Madfrog we want our athletes to become skilled volleyball players, build confidence, work together, but have a blast at the same time. We want our athletes to love the game!
  4. Join the MADFROG Family
We provide a learning environment that is comfortable with an "I am at home feel." At Madfrog we want our players and families to feel like they belong to more than just a volleyball club.

Parent Rules
Parents will respect coaches, players, other parents and officials. Our coaching staff has not only played, but also studied the game. We understand that each player has strengths and weaknesses. We, as coaches, will do our best to recognize the strengths in every athlete and play them in a position where their strengths will show and provide the best results for the team. Also remember that practice is a time to improve and work on weak areas of the game.

If you feel you must discuss your child's playing time with a coach, please refrain from doing so during tournament play. If you would like to talk to the coach regarding playing time, please set up a meeting to discuss your concerns. Please remember that the coaches need to be just as focused during tournaments as the players.

If you, as a parent, choose to ignore any of the above rules, your child will lose playing time. There will be no exceptions to this policy.

As a parent, you are responsible for your child's transportation to and from tournaments.

Payment: Payments are due on the 1st of the month, if your payment is not received on time, your child will not be able to participate until payment is current.

If payments can not be made, Madfrog has the right to release you from your contract or enforce "no pay, no play".
